(843)TV – Oct. 1, 2015: Featuring Dr. Eric Montie, professor of biology at University of South Carolina Beaufort; Rachel Jones and Chris Kehrer, Maritime Center naturalists; and Alicia Taylor, director of development at Port Royal Sound Foundation.

PRSF – Aug. 12, 2105: YMCA Boating Program. The Port Royal Sound Foundation partners with the YMCA of Beaufort throughout the year to provide hands-on boating safety instruction. Contact the Port Royal Sound Foundation for more information on participating.

PRSF – Aug. 11, 2015: “Sluice” is a nature-based sculpture installation that can be viewed from the Maritime Center’s floating dock and walkway. Henry Dean, an artist and professor of drawing and design at Savannah College of Art and Design, has created 10 “rigs” that each hold a uniquely shaped canvas. Over the two months of installation, the panels are “painted” by sediments and bio-matter carried by the tides as the water rises and falls.

North of the Broad – May 19, 2015: Featuring Ed Pappas, Port Royal Sound Foundation board member, and Jennifer Jenkins, volunteer program coordinator.
